DELEGATE BOYSKO LOOKS TO EXTEND DEMOCRATIC MOMENTUM – ANNOUNCES RUN FOR SENATE DISTRICT 33 November 7, 2018 (Herndon, VA) – Delegate Jennifer Boysko announced that she will seek the Democratic nomination to replace Congresswoman-elect Jennifer Wexton as the progressive voice for Northern Virginia in the State Senate. Boysko has been a vocal and effective advocate in the General Assembly, leading efforts to expand Medicaid, expand broadband access, protect reproductive freedom, pushing back against excessive tolls, and introducing legislation aimed at combating gun violence and the opioid crisis. “I am proud to announce my candidacy to run for the Democratic nomination to succeed my friend Congresswoman-elect Jennifer Wexton,” said Boysko. “I look forward to expanding my efforts to ensure quality healthcare for Virginia families, protect reproductive freedom and invest to improve our transportation infrastructure.” Along with her candidacy, Boysko announced the endorsements of Democratic party leaders from across the district as well as state Democratic leaders.
