80-20 article: Losing Pres. Obama's Commitment to us?

<![CDATA[]]>

Well, this is a hard job to sell. I’m not sure the Democratic party will get majority in both the Senate and the House in this election. I just forward to you for reading on the weekend and deciding if you want to help out. Have a nice weekend, ———————————- 80-20 article ——————– From: 80-20PACPresident Do you want Pres. Obama to fulfill the rest of his commitments to us? Then you need to help him maintain the Democrat’s majority in both the Senate and the House. Why? His appointments of Asian Am. life-tenured federal judges require Senate confirmation. Without a Senate majority, most of his appointments (future & outstanding ones) will not be confirmed. Why? His big increase in budget for enforcing EO 11246 for all of us may not survive the Congressional cuts. When EO 11246 is fully enforced, the number of Asian Am. managers/administrators in private industries & universities will DOUBLE! Imagine its impact on our community! So how can you help? 1) Talk up the immense historic implication of finally having an US president who has actually acknowledged our rightful concerns and begun to address them, and 2) Help 80-20 deliver the votes to Democrats (except those Republicans who have always shared our concerns and apply to 80-20 to get its help) by joining 80-20 and paying membership dues. 80-20 needs NEW members. The dues of NEW members will be MATCHED, thanks to the offer of $500 from Amy Mok of TX and $3,000 from S. B. Woo of DE. Your $35 or $50 will mean $70 or $100 to 80-20. Click on http://www.80-20initiative.net/membership/payment.asp . Or send a check to 80-20 PAC P.O. Box 603 Osprey, FL 34229. $35 for Basic, & $50 for family (2 votes). Please place your e-address(es) at the back of your check. 80-20 fought so hard for our community. It needs YOUR help to get the rest of Pres. Obama’s commitments fulfilled. Do YOUR share. The fruits of those hard fought battles must be protected to last at least 4 years. Respectfully, S.B. Woo Acting Exec. Director (a volunteer), 80-20 PAC]]>
