Theo nguồn tin trên trang mạng của lasvegasnevada.gov Media Release Wednesday, March 13, 2013 For Immediate Release Communications Contact: Jace Radke Telephone: 229-2205 Check Sample Ballots For Dates And Times Of Early Voting Locations Early voting for the Las Vegas Municipal Primary Election begins Saturday, March 16, and ends Friday, March 29. Las Vegas registered voters may vote at any of the convenient early voting sites or on Election Day at their designated polling place. Sample ballots sent to all registered voters will have dates and times of convenient neighborhood early voting locations. During early voting and on Election Day, residents living in Wards 2, 4 and 6 can vote for a City Council candidate who would represent their areas. Every vote counts because some seats may be decided in the Primary Election. According to the Las Vegas City Charter, if one candidate receives more than a majority of votes during the Primary Election, he or she must be declared elected. No General City Election would be held for that office. However, if no candidate receives that majority in the primary, the names of the two candidates receiving the highest number of votes are placed on the ballot for the General Election. The General Election is scheduled for April 2. A complete listing of Early Vote locations, dates and times is available on the city of Las Vegas Election website or by contacting the Las Vegas City Clerk at 229-6311, TTY 386-9108. -end
