FRIENDSHIP HEIGHTS, MD – Today, Congressman John Delaney joined George Stephanopoulos on ABC’s “This Week” for a one-on-one interview to discuss his campaign for president and his vision for the future of America. “What the American people are looking for is a leader to try to bring us together, not actually talk like half the country is entirely wrong about everything they believe,” said Delaney during the interview. “Democratic primary voters are going to look for that leader, who has a positive view of the future, who understands how technology, automation, global interconnections are fundamentally changing everything in our society and who has real plans to solve real problems, [and] get things done to improve the lives of our citizens.” The show will air again tonight at 7pm in the Washington DC area. Additionally, Delaney will join Steve Hilton on Fox News tonight at 9pm EST. Yesterday, Delaney was in Iowa for his 21st trip to the state where he opened campaign offices in Des Moines and Cedar Rapids. Last week, Delaney campaigned in Eastern Iowa and delivered remarks in Davenport, and held a roundtable discussion with minority entrepreneurs in Detroit. This week, Delaney will make his 13th trip to New Hampshire.
